Ram Navami 2023: Jaipur Royals' Claim to Fame as Lord Rama's Kin

The Jaipur kingdom comes from the family of the Suryavansa or Ikshvaku. It was Brigadier Bhawani Singh, a erstwhile royal, who prepared very ancient maps of Ramjanmabhoomi and Ayodhya, which were made public. So he was the 309th descendant in Rama's lineage and his illustrious family.

Rani Padmini Connection One of the more fascinating facts about this family is that the famous Rani Padmini Devi of Jaipur belongs to the Kushwaha family. This was also aired on an English channel. Even today they follow the qualities of Lord Rama and they will not tolerate any accusations leveled at them and they prefer to lose their lives to be subjected to barbs and insults.
