Ayodhya: Ahead of the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, artificial intelligence-powered CCTV cameras have been installed in the vicinity of the temple as a large number of visitors are expected to attend the ceremony, a top police official said on Saturday. Piyush Mordia, Additional Director General (ADG) (Lucknow Zone) told ANI that the police administration held a meeting with General Secretary Champat Rai of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra regarding the upcoming 'Pran Pratishtha' (abhishek) ceremony on Saturday.

"Ayodhya Police held a meeting with the authorities of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust regarding the upcoming 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. The purpose was to get the details of the sequence of events...," ADG Mordia said. "Police have been deployed and artificial intelligence-powered CCTVs have been installed across the district, in areas around the Ram temple and in tent cities...," added a top police officer.

The official added that pilgrims visiting the city for the grand ceremony will not face any inconvenience. "Our manpower will be deployed in such a way that no one faces any kind of problem...," he added. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22. The event has attracted considerable attention, with many VVIP guests from India and abroad receiving invitations to participate in Ayodhya's auspicious occasion. Vedic rituals for the prana-pratishtha (abhishek) ceremony of Ram Lalla (infant Lord Rama) in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Varanasi priest, Laxmikant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of Ram Lalla's consecration ceremony on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will mark Amrit Mohotsav.

1008 Hundi Mahayagna will also be organized, in which food will be served to thousands of devotees. Several tent cities are being built in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of devotees, who are expected to flock to the temple town in Uttar Pradesh for the grand abhishekam. According to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are preparing for the expected surge in visitors around the grand ceremony and are in the process of implementing enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
