Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras Tour at The Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona and it has been a huge success for the singer. Taytay is already breaking records on the first day of the show. The Back to December singer has officially become the female artist with the most attended concerts in the USA. More than 99 thousand people attended the first concert of Eras tour in Arizona. Swift's Eras Tour is a 52-show tour that will see the singer perform across North America.
Taylor Swift breaks records
Madonna previously held the title of female artist with the most attended concert in the USA in 1987 when she performed to an audience of approximately sixty-three thousand people at Anaheim Stadium in Los Angeles. Now, Taylor Swift has broken this record with more than sixty viewers. Nine thousand in Arizona during the first concert of the eras tour.
Reviews of the concert have been overwhelming with people calling Taylor Swift one of the 'hardest working' artists in the industry. The tour seems to have started with much fanfare but the ticket sales platform is being sued by some. Ticketmaster – the parent company of Live Nation Entertainment is being sued by fans of Taytay. Fans were upset with ticket presales which resulted in chaos as fans had to wait for hours with increased ticket prices and errors in messaging.
According to TODAY, the court document accuses Ticketmaster of breaching the contract along with several antitrust violations, including intentional misrepresentation and fraud. Fans are seeking $2500 in fines from Ticketmaster for each violation.
