It’s part of the media's role to comment. Back in 1980, a journalist claimed my career was over after seeing Lawaaris. Life is full of challenges and opportunities, and I view each day as a learning experience. I remain enthusiastic about my profession, despite the struggles.

Has your fan base grown since starting Crorepati?

Fans still visit my home regularly, and I cherish those moments. Their affection is not tied to my commercial success; it’s a genuine connection. I feel blessed to engage with younger audiences through Kaun Banega Crorepati, and I believe any host could thrive with such a well-crafted format.

Has KBC significantly altered your life?

I wouldn’t say it has drastically changed my life. Television was a new venture for me, and I had my doubts about entering this medium. However, it turned out to be a positive experience.
