The popular reality series Bigg Boss continues to captivate audiences and is making headlines once again with rumors surrounding its upcoming 19th season. Reports indicate that Salman Khan will reprise his role as the host. Recent speculation suggests that influencers Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija have been approached to join the cast of Bigg Boss 19.
For those unfamiliar, both Apoorva and Samay have recently garnered attention due to their controversial remarks on India's Got Latent. An Instagram account dedicated to Bigg Boss shared this news, following earlier rumors that suggested these influencers might not participate in the new season. As of now, neither Apoorva nor Samay has commented on these speculations.
Confirmed Contestants and Future Plans
In a recent statement, actress Khushi Dubey confirmed that she has also been approached for Bigg Boss 19. Speaking to a media outlet, she stated, “Yes, it is true, I have been approached for the show. Let's see, talks are ongoing, but nothing is finalized yet. Currently, discussions are in progress.” She further clarified, “No, that’s not true at all. The show is not going off air anytime soon; it’s here to stay.”
According to reports, Salman Khan is set to return as the host for Bigg Boss 19, with plans to film the promotional content by the end of June 2025. The new season is expected to debut in late July. In the previous season, Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner, with Vivian Dsena taking the runner-up position, alongside finalists Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh, and Chum Darang.
Additionally, Colors TV is reportedly seeking new producers for both Bigg Boss OTT 4 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Earlier rumors suggested that these shows might be canceled for 2025, but the latest updates indicate that while Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 may be postponed, it will not be canceled.
