Akshay Kumar Defends Paresh Rawal's Exit from Hera Pheri 3

Paresh Rawal's Departure Shocks Bollywood
The sudden decision of Paresh Rawal to leave the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3 has left fans and the Bollywood community in disbelief. His iconic portrayal of 'Babu Bhaiya' has been a cornerstone of the franchise, and Suniel Shetty, who plays Shyam, expressed his astonishment, stating that the film cannot proceed without Rawal.
During the trailer launch of his upcoming film Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar addressed the controversy surrounding Rawal's exit. When questioned about fans labeling Rawal as 'foolish' for his departure, Akshay was quick to defend his long-time friend.
He remarked, "First of all, I would say that using such terms for one of my co-stars is not acceptable. I have worked with him for over 32 years, and he is a fantastic actor whom I deeply respect."
Akshay further commented on the seriousness of Rawal's exit, stating, "This is not the right platform to discuss it. It's a serious issue that will be addressed in court, and I prefer not to elaborate on it here."
Legal Issues Surrounding Hera Pheri 3
In addition to the drama surrounding Rawal's exit, he is currently facing a legal notice amounting to Rs 25 crore from Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films, due to his abrupt departure from the film.
As for Akshay, he is preparing for the release of Housefull 5, which boasts a star-studded cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many others. The film is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
