New Flatted Factory Project Near Noida Airport to Boost MSME Sector

Flatted Factory Development in Yamuna City
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is accelerating the construction of a flatted factory in the Yamuna City region, adjacent to the upcoming Noida International Airport. This initiative, located in Sector 28, aims to bolster the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, with an expected completion timeline of two years and a total investment of ₹125 crore, as reported by officials.
A flatted factory is a multi-story industrial building that accommodates various small-scale manufacturing units under one roof. This innovative concept provides significant advantages for small business owners by optimizing space utilization and sharing resources. Notably, this will be the first such project in the Greater Noida area.
The facility is projected to host over 100 industrial units within a sprawling 38,665 square meters. Additionally, a Medical Device Park will be established in the same sector to further enhance the region's economic landscape, according to Dr. Arun Vir Singh, CEO of YEIDA.
This project reflects the government's commitment to supporting small businesses by consolidating essential services, including air conditioning, elevators, firefighting systems, water supply, and electricity, all within a single location. Furthermore, the facility will feature CCTV security and environmentally friendly design elements.
The initiative is expected to attract investors and generate employment opportunities. Moreover, the establishment of such a large industrial hub near the Noida International Airport is likely to facilitate easier travel for business owners from cities like Jaipur and Mumbai, thereby increasing passenger traffic. Currently, many industrialists depend on Delhi Airport for air travel.
