Neco E-Pop electric scooter unveiled with 60km range and 45km/h top speed

The evolution of electric mobility solutions has created a broad spectrum of products in the two-wheeler segment. The Neco E-Pop electric scooter is one of the funky and compact models manufactured by the Belgian company, Neco. Neco E-Pop is a compact electric urban run with a top speed of 45km/h and a range of 60km. The E-Pop can accommodate one passenger and comes with a two-seater saddle.

E-Pop's design embodies Neko's belief that urban e-mobility models don't have to be dull and boring. Neco specializes in small-displacement petrol-engine scooters and commuter motorcycles. The E-Pop therefore marks Neko's entry into the electric two-wheeler segment. The E-Pop has the same performance rating as a typical e-bike or moped in the US. It also has a Honda Ruckus-like design with an open frame. Indeed, Neko sounds like a compact version of e-pop ruckus.

The E-Pop is equipped with a 1.2kW rear hub electric motor that delivers a top speed of 45km/h for the model. Its 48V 28Ah battery gives the bike a range of around 60km on a single charge. The battery is removable and can be recharged on or off the bike.

The E-Pop features a double rear shock system and a front telescopic fork. It uses 10-inch wheels and disc brakes at both front and rear. The E-Pop features full LED lights, keyless start, a built-in luggage rack and a USB charging port. The E-Pop weighs around 55kg and its practical folding handlebar makes it easy to store and transport.

Price and Availability
The Neco E-Pop is available in Europe for €1,999 (~$2,120). Four color options are available for the model namely Black, Yellow, Green and Orange. There are no availability details for Neco E-Pop for other markets at this time.
