Mina Shirakawa has officially become the interim ROH Women’s Television Champion after a thrilling four-way match at the 2025 ROH Supercard of Honor. Competing against Miyu Yamashita, Persephone, and Yuka Sakazaki, Shirakawa secured her victory by submitting Yamashita with a figure-four leglock.

Following her win, Shirakawa is set to face the reigning champion, Red Velvet, in a future match to establish the undisputed champion, as Velvet is currently sidelined due to an injury.

The announcement of the interim title match was made earlier this week during a media call for the upcoming All In Texas 2025 PPV, where AEW President Tony Khan confirmed Velvet's injury status. The four-way match was scheduled shortly before the taping of Friday’s ROH event in Arlington, Texas.

Red Velvet was present at ringside, observing the intense competition among the four women. The match saw all participants battling outside the ring, with Persephone delivering punches to Shirakawa, allowing Yamashita to land a kick to her face. The chaos continued as Persephone and Yamashita engaged in a brawl, creating opportunities for pin attempts.

In a pivotal moment, Sakazaki executed a hammerlock slam on Yamashita, but Shirakawa quickly countered by applying the Figure Four. Sakazaki interrupted the pin attempt with her Magical Girl Splash on Yamashita. However, Shirakawa, a recent addition to the AEW roster from STARDOM, managed to perform a dragon screw on Yamashita before reapplying the Figure Four, ultimately forcing her to tap out.

Prior to the match, Velvet expressed her frustration over her injury in a backstage interview, emphasizing her eagerness to reclaim the title from the new champion. After Shirakawa's victory, the two confronted each other on the entrance ramp, hinting at their upcoming clash.

This marks Mina Shirakawa's first title win as a full-time AEW competitor, although it is not part of the main roster's championship scene. Previously, she had aimed for the IWGP STRONG Women’s Championship and the AEW Women’s World Championship but fell short.
