Exciting Matches on Day 12 of Yuva All-Stars Championship

Haridwar (Uttarakhand) [India], March 17: On the twelfth day of the Yuva All-Stars Championship held in Haridwar, teams Yuva Yoddhas, Jaipur Pink Cubs, and Warriorz K.C. emerged victorious in their respective matches. The rivalry between Palani Tuskers and Kurukshetra Warriors added extra excitement to the day, according to the championship's press release.


In the opening match, Yuva Yoddhas triumphed over Vasco Vipers with a score of 37-29. The Yoddhas dominated the first half, scoring 22 points, including an All Out that gave them a solid 22-11 lead. Although the Vipers rallied in the second half with a Super Tackle and another All Out, they ultimately fell short by eight points.


With this win, Yuva Yoddhas climbed to the top of Pool B with 33 points, while Vasco Vipers languish at the bottom of Pool A with just eight points from nine matches. Shivam Singh from Yoddhas was the standout player, contributing 13 raid points, which included 11 touchpoints and two bonus points.


In the second match, Warriorz K.C. defeated UP Falcons 38-28. The Falcons started strong, gaining an early lead and executing an All Out against their opponents, finishing the first half ahead 18-13. However, Punit Kumar's Super Raid allowed Warriorz K.C. to turn the tide, leading to an All Out that gave them a slight edge early in the second half.


The Bengal-based team excelled in the latter half, adding 25 points to their score and securing a comfortable 10-point victory, moving them to second place in Pool A. The Falcons currently sit fourth in Pool A with 26 points, while 18-year-old Punit Kumar shone with 13 raid points.


Later, Kurukshetra Warriors and Palani Tuskers battled to a thrilling 38-38 draw. The Warriors initially took a 4-0 lead with a Super Raid, but the Tuskers quickly leveled the score with two Super Tackles. Kurukshetra then executed an All Out to regain a four-point advantage, as noted in the championship's press release.


After a tightly contested first half, both teams went into halftime tied at 16-16. The Tuskers managed to take a four-point lead with another All Out, but the Warriors responded with an All Out of their own. In the final moments, successful raids from the Tuskers ensured both teams shared the points. Currently, Palani ranks third in Pool A, while the Warriors sit at the bottom of Pool B. Sachin Jagbir's performance, with 13 raid points, was a highlight of this match.


In another Pool A match, Jaipur Pink Cubs defeated Junior Steelers 36-27. The first half was closely contested, ending 17-15 in favor of the Pink Cubs. The Steelers managed to tie the game at 18-18 early in the second half, but the Jaipur team quickly regained control, scoring eight consecutive points before securing a nine-point victory.


Parvinder, despite receiving two green cards, was the top performer with 15 raid points. The Jaipur Pink Cubs have maintained their lead in Pool A with 39 points, while Junior Steelers have dropped to fifth place with 18 points from eight matches.
