Exciting Prospects for SRH in IPL 2025

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], March 27: As the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) prepare for their IPL 2025 match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Thursday, bowling coach James Franklin expressed optimism about the potential for a high-scoring game, suggesting that fans might witness a match where the 300-run mark is reached.

In their previous match, SRH came close to this milestone, nearly hitting 300 runs during their encounter with the Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The team's impressive batting performance captivated fans as they achieved a remarkable total of 286/6 against the Royals, marking the fourth time SRH has surpassed the 250-run threshold in T20 matches, the most by any team in this format. Prior to this match, they were tied with Surrey for the highest number of 250-plus scores in T20 history.

Franklin noted that this season has already seen teams reaching scores between 230 and 240, indicating that a 300-run game is within reach. He stated, “I’d never say never. We came close ourselves recently, and we’ve seen other teams achieve 230 and 240. So, why not?”

The upcoming match will feature Pat Cummins leading SRH against Rishabh Pant's LSG in the seventh match of the IPL 2025 season, set to take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
