Punjab Kings Secure Narrow Win Against Gujarat Titans

In a thrilling match on March 25 in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings (PBKS) edged out Gujarat Titans (GT) by 11 runs in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). Punjab set a challenging target of 243 runs, and despite Gujarat's strong effort, they could only manage 232 runs.


Gujarat Titans started their innings positively, with openers Sai Sudharsan and captain Shubman Gill forming a solid 61-run partnership. However, Punjab's Glenn Maxwell turned the tide by dismissing Gill, who scored 33 runs.


Sudharsan continued to impress, scoring a rapid 74 runs off 41 balls, featuring five fours and six sixes, before being dismissed by Arshdeep Singh, leaving Gujarat at 145 for 2 in the 13th over.


Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford then added 54 runs to the total, with Buttler reaching a half-century before being bowled out for 54 by Marco Jansen. Rahul Tewatia followed shortly after, scoring just six runs before being run out.
