He expressed pride in the phrase often recited with reverence, 'from Kashmir to Kanyakumari,' which has now become a reality for the railway system. Modi highlighted that the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail line projects are not just names but represent the new potential of Jammu and Kashmir, showcasing India's emerging strength.

New Infrastructure for Jammu and Kashmir

He anticipates that this bridge will not only facilitate travel to Kashmir but also become a major tourist attraction. Modi recalled a statement from former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who mentioned waiting for the completion of this project since his school days, highlighting that many dreams have now been realized. He expressed pride in the swift progress made on the Chenab Bridge under his government.

Jammu and Kashmir: A Jewel of India

Modi concluded by stating that Jammu and Kashmir is the crown of Mother India, adorned with beautiful gems representing its diverse strengths. He praised the region's ancient culture, spiritual consciousness, natural beauty, and the skills of its youth, all contributing to its brilliance.
