According to Patel, Khan allegedly intended to travel from Canada to New York to execute a mass shooting at a Jewish Center in Brooklyn, timed for October 7, 2024, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the Hamas attack in Israel. 'Thanks to the diligent work of FBI teams and our partners, these plans were uncovered and thwarted, leading to Khan's arrest by Canadian authorities on September 4, 2024. He is now in the U.S. to face justice,' Patel remarked.
