Following the recent recruitment of 19,000 Bihar Police Constables, the Bihar government has unveiled plans to fill 15,000 Home Guard positions. The application process is set to commence on March 27, as indicated by a notification from the Director General cum Commandant General Office and Home Defense Corps, Bihar.

Conversely, smaller districts like Sheohar, Supaul, and Saharsa have fewer vacancies, while Arwal, Navgachiya, and Bagaha report no openings in this recruitment round.


Selection Process & Requirements:


The recruitment will take place at the district level, enabling candidates to apply from their respective home districts. The selection process will consist of a written examination, followed by physical and medical tests. Only those who successfully navigate all stages will be appointed.
