When you eat too much or eat the wrong foods, you get stomach pains that lead to gas build-up. Getting relief from gas is very challenging but with all these exercises mentioned below you can get rid of it like never before. Cat Cow Stretch
Cat's cow stretches your abdominal area to keep the gases moving.
How to:
- Get down on your hands and knees.
- Keep the back flat.
- Arch back to make sure the belly button goes toward the floor.
- Tilt the head upwards and hold the position for 10 seconds.
- Return to a flat back and bend so that your spine reaches the ceiling.
- Next, head down.
- Hold for 10 seconds and repeat one more time.
Extended Triangle Pose
Bring your feet together and stand straight with your arms down by your sides
How to:
- Step back 3 feet with the left leg and turn it to a 90 degree angle. Twist your chest to the left.
- Extend the leg and reach forward to your right hand with the left arm back and palms facing down.
- Bend at the waist and bring the right hand to the floor. Keep the chest open and extend the left arm.
- Hold the pose for 15 seconds.
- Repeat with the other side
Extended Puppy Pose
For relaxing a full stomach, this pose works well.
How to:
- Start on all fours with your hands under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
- Move your hands forward a few inches.
- Roll the tips of the toes into the ground.
- Exhale
- Move your butt back, placing your forehead on the floor.
- Extend the arms with the palms on the floor.
- Bend the back slightly
- Hold for 30 seconds
