RJ Mahvash Opens Up About Trolling and Dating Rumors with Yuzvendra Chahal

RJ Mahvash Discusses the Impact of Online Trolls
RJ Mahvash has been in the spotlight lately due to her rumored relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, which has sparked ongoing dating speculation. However, the attention has also brought a wave of trolling and negative comments on social media.
In a recent interview, Mahvash shared how the relentless trolling has affected her mental well-being, stating that it made her contemplate stepping away from the public eye entirely. She expressed, “Everyone has moments when they feel like giving up. I recently experienced this due to some trolls. It was hard to cope, especially since many of the comments were unfounded. I wondered, ‘Why are they being so harsh? I’m just a girl trying to live my life.’ This negativity took a toll on me, and I wished to retreat from social media and public life, even fantasizing about living a simple life away from it all.”
Despite feeling the need to clarify the rumors, Mahvash chooses to remain silent, believing she doesn’t owe explanations to strangers. She remarked, “People don’t realize what you’re going through. Sometimes, you want to say, ‘What you’re saying is all fabricated; it’s not true.’ But how many people can you respond to?”
Although both Mahvash and Chahal have denied the dating rumors, speculation intensified when they were spotted together at a Champions Trophy match in Dubai and during the IPL season, where she has been a vocal supporter of Chahal.
These sightings come on the heels of Chahal's recent divorce from influencer Dhanashree Verma, which was finalized on March 20, 2025, after they married in 2020.
On the professional front, Mahvash is making her acting debut in the series 'Pyar Paisa Profit,' inspired by Durjoy Datta’s popular novel 'Now That You’re Rich… Let’s Fall in Love.' The show features a talented cast, including Pratik Yadav, Mihir Ahuja, Neil Bhoopalam, Nitish Sharma, Shivangi Khedkar, and Ashish Raghav, and is currently available for streaming on Amazon MX Player.
