Popstar Charlie Puth has posted a clip of himself kissing Sabrina Carpenter amid rumors of her dating Shawn Mendes, leading to a flurry of questions from the audience as to whether the two are dating. Puth posted the 13-second long video on TikTok, "3.31 @sabrinacarpenter @danandshay." In the clip, Puth and Carpenter play a game of operation on a candlelit table as the 23-year-old singer and actress pulls out a tiny heart and holds it up. The Attention hitmaker responds by saying, "I always knew you had a little, little heart," which is followed by the two smiling and kissing, as instrumental music begins to play in the background.

The clip posted on March 15 raised some questions as to whether the two singers were dating but it seems the clip is nothing more than a promotional teaser for their upcoming collaboration which will be released on March 31, 2023. Earlier in the day, Puth posted a picture and wrote, "I love my Nano and I love that tonight starts something special," referring to the single.

Meanwhile, Carpenter has recently been rumored to be dating singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes. According to Entertainment Tonight's source, Carpenter and the 24-year-old musician are seeing each other. The two reportedly "hang out a lot" and "try to keep things low-key." The source added that the two were spotted together at a birthday party and claimed that Mendes was happy. Further fueling the rumours, the couple was spotted leaving Miley Cyrus' album release party on March 9. Before this, they were also seen walking together in Los Angeles on February 27.
