Police Crackdown on Terrorism in Srinagar
In response to the recent attack in Pahalgam, law enforcement officials conducted extensive raids across 11 locations in Srinagar on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson revealed that since the incident on April 22, authorities have executed approximately 150 raids targeting the residences of suspected terrorists and their associates.
This operation aims to dismantle the infrastructure supporting terrorist activities. The Srinagar police have intensified their efforts to eliminate networks that facilitate terrorism.
The spokesperson emphasized that these search operations are part of a sustained and robust initiative to combat terrorism, focusing on the associates of banned terrorist organizations and advancing investigations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The raids on Tuesday were part of this ongoing effort.
