Recently crowned the U12 Girls' Singles champion at the Junior Pickleball Championship PWR400, she starts her day at 5:30 AM, fitting in practice before heading to school and returning for evening training. Her success is rooted in a disciplined routine, family support, and a recognition of her potential long before the accolades began to accumulate. Her latest victory in Ahmedabad has garnered national attention, but her parents have seen her talent for years.

Vidisha's journey in sports began with tennis. Her family recalls that she first picked up a racket at the tender age of two. What distinguished her was not just her skill but her unwavering attitude. "Her passion, quick movements, and determination to win caught her father's eye. She consistently sought to improve with each practice and never backed down," her parents shared. This dedication led them to invest significantly in her training, with her father taking on the role of her coach. "Her relentless effort and steady improvement convinced us that she possesses exceptional talent that, with the right guidance, could flourish."

A Day Built Around Sport and School
Achieving success at such a young age necessitates a well-structured routine. "Vidisha's day starts early. She rises at 5:30 AM and practices until 7 AM. After that, she heads to school by 7:30 AM, completes her studies, and then returns to pickleball practice from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM," her parents explained. In addition to training, they emphasize the importance of recovery and nutrition. "We ensure she gets enough rest and maintains a balanced diet alongside her practice."

Witnessing Vidisha win the U12 Girls' Singles title filled her family with pride and belief. "The drives she practices daily have a lasting impact. We often wondered how many U12 singles titles she would achieve. It was all about pride, and we gained confidence with every point she scored," they reflected. For them, this victory validated months of hard work. "Her preparation for upcoming national and international tournaments is off to a strong start. Consistency, effort, and confidence truly yield results."

Despite being only eight, Vidisha's aspirations are already expanding. Her family is actively monitoring junior tournaments worldwide and exposing her to international competition through video analysis. "She dreams of participating in Junior PPA, Junior APP, and Junior National Pickleball events," they shared. The upcoming D-Joy events in Vietnam are also on their radar, with efforts underway to secure sponsorship for her trip. Representing India is her ultimate goal. "She aims to participate in and excel at international competitions in the U8, U10, and U12 categories in the coming year. She is eagerly looking forward to it," her parents concluded. For now, her national title marks another significant achievement, but if her early journey is any indication, even greater accomplishments may lie ahead.
