Legal Victory for Yash Dayal

Yash Dayal, the fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bangalore, was granted significant relief on Tuesday when the Allahabad High Court halted his arrest related to allegations of exploiting a woman over a five-year period. An FIR was filed against Yash on July 6 at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad under Section 69 of the BNS, which pertains to deceitful sexual relations.

The bench, comprising Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Anil Kumar, provided Yash with relief until the next hearing. Following the filing of the FIR, Yash approached the Allahabad High Court to seek a stay on his arrest. While granting the stay, the bench remarked to the woman, "You can be fooled for a day, two days, or three days... but for five years... you have been in a relationship for five years... no one can be fooled for that long."

Yash is accused of exploiting the woman under the pretense of marriage. According to the complainant, they met nearly five years ago, during which he promised to marry her. The woman claims that Yash continuously postponed the marriage proposal and later discovered that he had relationships with other women. Yash was represented by Gopal Swaroop Chaturvedi, Gaurav Tripathi, and Raghvansh Mishra. Additionally, this star bowler from RCB has lodged a complaint with the Prayagraj police, requesting an FIR against the woman.
