Yash Dayal Faces Legal Trouble Amid Serious Allegations

Legal Controversy Surrounds Yash Dayal

Yash Dayal, a fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, is embroiled in a legal controversy after a woman from Ghaziabad lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against him, accusing him of 'sexual exploitation' under the guise of marriage. The 27-year-old cricketer, who recently played a pivotal role in RCB's IPL 2025 victory, has strongly denied these claims and has initiated a counter-complaint with the police in Prayagraj.

In his complaint, which has been accessed by various media outlets, Dayal alleges that the woman stole his iPhone and laptop. He revealed that their acquaintance began on Instagram in 2021, leading to their interactions.

Dayal further claims that during their relationship, the woman borrowed significant sums of money from him, supposedly for medical expenses for both their families, but has failed to repay any of it. He also accuses her of persistently asking for money for shopping, asserting that he possesses evidence to back these allegations.

Upon learning about the FIR filed against him at the Indirapuram police station, which cites Section 69 of the BNS Act (prohibiting sexual relations based on fraudulent marriage promises), Dayal decided to take legal action himself. His petition seeks an FIR against the woman, her family members, and others involved.

The initial FIR was prompted by the woman's complaint to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath via the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) on June 21, where she alleged that Dayal had physically exploited her during their five-year relationship.

The situation remains unresolved, with both parties pursuing legal avenues and investigations already in progress.
