WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Exciting Cross-Brand Show Set for Los Angeles
Overview of WWE Worlds Collide 2025
The upcoming WWE Worlds Collide 2025 is anticipated to be a thrilling cross-brand event featuring unexpected appearances from WWE and the newly integrated AAA brand under the TKO umbrella. This event is also being promoted as NXT-AAA Worlds Collide, suggesting that wrestlers from various WWE brands, as well as TNA, may join the festivities.
Recent updates indicate that WWE is considering a surprise segment with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio during the event in Los Angeles this weekend. Sources close to the show's creative team have revealed that both superstars are in discussions for an appearance.
While specific details about the segment remain unclear, it is speculated that Dominik will showcase his heel persona, asserting himself as the top Mexican wrestler, potentially leading to confrontations with AAA wrestlers present. His father, Rey Mysterio, might also make an appearance to challenge him.
The current plan is to feature a segment with Liv and Dominik rather than a match, although these plans could evolve as the event approaches.
Dominik Mysterio is not slated for a match at the Money in the Bank PLE, which is also taking place at the same venue on the same night. Liv Morgan recently participated in a Money in the Bank qualifier on Raw, but unfortunately, her opponent, Stephanie Vaquer, emerged victorious, eliminating Liv's chances of competing at MITB.
Vaquer will also partner with Lola Vice to face AAA's Dalys and Chik Tormenta in a tag team match at WWE Worlds Collide 2025. Additionally, Chad Gable will participate in two events on Saturday, first competing against El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship earlier in the day at the NXT-AAA PLE, followed by his role as Americano in the Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match.
