This adjustment aligns with the trend of Roman Reigns typically headlining events he participates in, a pattern that continues even after he lost the WWE Championship last year. Notably, WWE Summerslam 2025 will mark Roman's first match since WrestleMania 41. It's worth mentioning that in 2024, Roman's first singles match post-WrestleMania XL took place at the Bad Blood event, where he also headlined over the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Hell in a Cell match.

Initially, this situation was thought to be part of a storyline, but later confirmations indicated that McIntyre's travel complications are genuine. WWE is actively working to resolve these issues so he can participate in the tag match alongside Logan Paul against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll.
