WWE Evolution 2025: Excitement Builds for All-Women's Show
WWE Evolution 2025 Set to Make History

The upcoming WWE Evolution 2025 marks a significant return after a seven-year break for an all-female wrestling event. WWE officially announced the show during the summer, generating a mix of skepticism and growing enthusiasm among the female roster as the date approached.
The first match confirmed for WWE Evolution 2025 will feature competitors from the NXT brand, vying for the NXT Women’s Championship. This announcement came from NXT's general manager, Ava, who also revealed that members of the developmental brand would participate in this highly anticipated event in Atlanta.
During a guest appearance on a popular media channel, Jacy Jayne, the current NXT Women’s Champion, expressed her eagerness to defend her title at WWE Evolution. She reflected on her excitement, recalling how she watched the inaugural event on television.

Jayne praised the NXT women's division, calling it the best in the world, and expressed her joy at being part of WWE Evolution 2025. She emphasized the importance of showcasing their talent on such a prominent platform, especially to audiences who may not be familiar with them.
She stated, "We always say, ‘NXT has the best women’s division in the entire world,’ so I’m thrilled that they’re including NXT in this event. It’s a huge opportunity for me to represent our division, and I’m taking it very seriously."
On the June 10 episode of NXT, GM Ava announced that Jacy Jayne would defend her title at WWE Evolution 2025. To determine her opponent, several qualifying matches were set up: Lash Legend vs. Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame vs. Zaria, Jaida Parker vs. Thea Hail, and Jordynne Grace vs. Lola Vice, with the winners advancing to a Fatal-4-Way match.
Ultimately, Jordynne Grace emerged victorious and will challenge Jayne for the title at WWE Evolution 2025. Jayne previously claimed the championship in May, marking her first singles title win in WWE, after being a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Gigi Dolin.
