WWE is actively seeking to include more legendary figures in the all-women's PLE lineup, although they have faced some challenges in this endeavor.

Recently, Nikki Bella made her return on Monday Night Raw, initiating a storyline with Liv Morgan. There were indications that Morgan and her tag partner Raquel Rodriguez would face The Bella Twins for the tag titles at WWE Evolution 2025, but this plan was derailed due to Morgan's injury.

According to updates from a reliable source, WWE is making concerted efforts to bring back prominent female legends for the event, including Trish Stratus, who is expected to appear in her storyline with Tiffany Stratton on this week's SmackDown in Pittsburgh. However, Trish is not the only familiar name WWE is negotiating with.

Despite attempts to create a robust match card for WWE Evolution 2025, the process has encountered obstacles. Liv Morgan's injury has necessitated significant adjustments to the creative direction for the event, leaving many wrestlers uncertain about the plans.

“Some of the creative and the negotiating came down to the wire,” the report stated. “Talent had not been informed of the event before the public announcement, although many had heard the online rumors.”
