Concerns Over Alternative Venue for Fan Engagement

The ongoing discussions within WWE and TKO Group Holdings, which manages WWE operations under the UFC umbrella, have also contributed to the delay in announcing WrestleMania 42's new location. TKO executives are reportedly hesitant about utilizing the available convention space at Mandalay Bay, which was considered as an alternative venue for fan interactions.

“Additionally, we’ve learned TKO wasn’t sold on using the available convention space at Mandalay Bay, which added to the delay in the announcement,” noted the source.

The decision to move WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans has surprised many fans, especially since the city has previously provided an exciting atmosphere for both attendees and WWE talent. The Caesars Superdome successfully hosted the event in 2014 and 2018, receiving accolades for its production quality and overall fan experience.
