The much-anticipated World Championship of Legends (WCL) is back for its third season, bringing together cricket's most celebrated figures for thrilling matches and intense rivalries. This season marks the league's debut in the Middle East, specifically in the UAE.
WCL Season 3 Launches in the UAE
This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for the tournament. Following two successful seasons in the UK, which attracted over 425 million viewers globally in Season 2, the league is set to kick off in Dubai and Sharjah from October 3 to 18, 2026. The tournament will be officially known as the BNW Developments World Championship of Legends, thanks to the partnership with BNW Developments, a prominent luxury real estate developer in the UAE.
Star-Studded Lineup of Players
WCL Season 3 features an impressive lineup of cricket legends, including Yuvraj Singh, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, David Warner, Moeen Ali, and Mahmudullah Riyad, among others.
Reviving Iconic Rivalries
The tournament will reignite some of cricket's most famous rivalries, highlighted by the highly anticipated clash between the India Champions and Pakistan Champions. Fans can expect thrilling performances, from Chris Gayle's explosive sixes to AB de Villiers' innovative stroke play, as Yuvraj Singh faces off against Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez in this Indo-Pak showdown.
