In his Instagram story, Jacks included a photo of his boarding pass along with an Indian flag emoji and a back arrow, signaling his excitement.

Jacks has been a key player for MI, participating in 11 out of their first 12 matches, where he scored 195 runs in nine innings and took five wickets with his off-spin bowling. His contributions have been crucial, earning him Player-of-the-Match accolades in vital victories against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants, highlighting his role as a reliable all-rounder.

While Jacks is back in India for the final two group-stage matches, his participation in the later stages of the tournament remains uncertain due to his selection in England's limited-overs squad for the upcoming series against the West Indies, which coincides with the IPL knockout rounds.
