Rajeev Shukla Takes the Helm at BCCI
New Delhi: Rajeev Shukla, a seasoned cricket administrator, is poised to take over as the interim president of the BCCI, succeeding Roger Binny, who will reach the age of 70 next month, as reported by sources within the BCCI.
Roger Binny, who assumed the presidency from Sourav Ganguly in 2022, will celebrate his 70th birthday on July 19, thus exceeding the age limit set for office bearers.
Currently serving as the vice-president of the BCCI, Shukla, aged 65, will lead the board until new elections are conducted during the annual general meeting scheduled for September.
