Celebrating Love: Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok's Wedding


Mumbai: Suresh Raina, the former Indian cricketer, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok following their wedding, wishing them a joyful married life.


Arjun, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, married entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok in a ceremony that saw the attendance of numerous notable figures from the cricket world on Thursday.


Raina took to social media to share his best wishes for the newlyweds and also sent his regards to Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar. He posted a wedding photo on Instagram featuring Aakash Chopra, a cricketer-turned-commentator, alongside the couple.


In his post, Raina wrote, “Congratulations @arjuntendulkar24 & Sanya! Wishing you both a very happy married life! Congratulations, paji @sachintendulkar & Anjali bhabhi.”

In addition to Raina, several prominent figures from Indian cricket, such as former captain MS Dhoni, ex-coach Rahul Dravid, legendary spinner Anil Kumble, World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh, and KSCA president Venkatesh Prasad, also offered their blessings to the couple on this momentous occasion.


Jay Shah, the chief of the International Cricket Council (ICC), was also present in Mumbai to celebrate the wedding and extend his good wishes. He is anticipated to attend the T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final match between India and England later that evening at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.


Arjun and Saaniya had previously announced their engagement in a private ceremony in August 2025, which was attended by close family and friends.


The wedding festivities for Arjun commenced earlier in the week with a series of traditional events. Pre-wedding celebrations, including mehendi and sangeet, took place in Mumbai, featuring many former and current cricketers.


Saaniya, Arjun's wife, is an entrepreneur based in Mumbai, hailing from a well-known business family. She is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group, and has made a name for herself in the pet-care and animal welfare industry as a veterinary technician and entrepreneur.
