Shimla: The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, announced a reward of Rs 1 crore for Renuka Thakur, an Indian pacer from the Rohru region, who played a pivotal role in the Indian Women's cricket team's historic World Cup victory.


In a phone call, Sukhu congratulated Renuka and the entire squad for their remarkable achievement in clinching their first World Cup title. He expressed his excitement, stating that he watched both the semi-final and final matches, praising the team's outstanding performance.
