Jayden Seales Breaks Dale Steyn's Record

Seales delivered an impressive performance, taking six wickets for only 18 runs in 7.2 overs. His outstanding bowling was pivotal in restricting Pakistan to a mere 92 runs. With this achievement, Seales surpassed the previous record set by South Africa's Dale Steyn, who had taken six wickets for 39 runs in nine overs back in 2013.

Chasing a target of 295 runs, Pakistan's innings got off to a disastrous start, losing three wickets for just eight runs in the third over. Seales dismissed Sam Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, and captain Mohammad Rizwan without allowing them to score. Babar Azam was also among his victims, while Agha Salman top-scored for Pakistan with 30 runs before being caught off Gudakesh Motie's bowling. Hasan Nawaz and Naseem Shah both fell for just six runs.
