This costly error resulted in 14 runs, including a six. Bhuvneshwar left Dayal with 15 runs to defend in the final over. Despite some tense moments, including a waist-high no-ball, Dayal maintained his composure, leading RCB to a thrilling two-run victory.
Earlier, CSK's captain MS Dhoni chose to bowl first, a decision that backfired as Kohli and Jacob Bethell dominated the powerplay.

The Caribbean all-rounder smashed 53 runs off only 14 balls, including 33 runs in a single over against Khaleel Ahmed, helping RCB reach a total of 213/5. Shepherd's explosive batting alongside Mahendra Singh Dhoni resulted in a formidable 117-run partnership for the fourth wicket. However, CSK's efforts, including a 114-run partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and Ayush Mhatre, fell short of the target.
