A Glimpse into Kohli's Family Life

A charming video featuring Virat Kohli, his spouse Anushka Sharma, and their children—daughter Vamika and son Akaay—has been circulating widely on social media. The renowned Indian cricketer announced his retirement from Test cricket on May 12 and was seen in Delhi that same day.

On May 13, Kohli and Anushka visited the Premanand Maharaj Ashram in Vrindavan before heading to Mumbai later that evening. During this time, a touching video of the couple warmly embracing Anushka's mother and their kids was shared online, quickly gaining popularity across social platforms.

Throughout his Test career, Kohli participated in 123 matches, finishing as the fourth-highest run-scorer in this format. He accumulated a total of 9,230 runs, which included 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries.

Despite his retirement from Test cricket, Kohli is set to return to the field soon with the IPL 2025 resuming on May 17, following a week-long suspension by the BCCI on May 9. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face off against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on the first day of the tournament's restart.

Kohli has been in exceptional form during IPL 2025, amassing 505 runs in 11 innings, boasting an impressive average of 63.12 and a strike rate of 143.46. Despite efforts from Deshpande B4 and vice-captain Akash Parkar 8, they fell short as Vipul Mehra (4/67) and Vinayak Bule (3/34) claimed the majority of wickets.

As he approaches his 36th birthday in November, Kohli continues to hold the record for the most runs in IPL history, with 8,509 runs from 255 innings across 263 matches. His remarkable achievements include eight centuries and 62 fifties, with an average of 39.57.
