In the IPL 2026 final held in Ahmedabad, RCB triumphed over the Gujarat Titans (GT) with a remarkable performance from Kohli, who scored an impressive 75 runs off 42 balls. RCB successfully chased down a target of 156 runs, joining the ranks of five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) as the only teams to win back-to-back IPL titles.


Kohli expressed his thoughts on social media, stating, "We asked ourselves a question last year - can we go back to back? Here we are again."

Kohli concluded the tournament as the fourth-highest run-scorer, amassing 675 runs in 16 innings, averaging 56.25 with a strike rate of 165.84, including one century and five half-centuries, with a top score of 105.

Washington Sundar was the standout performer for GT, scoring 50 runs off 37 balls, while Nishant Sindhu contributed 20 runs.
