On May 2, Vinay Sethia and Rahul Belwal clinched the Men's Doubles title for players aged 30 and above at the Kolkata Open, a PWR 400 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA). The pair showcased an impressive performance in the final, overpowering Kanishk Gupta and Rishabh Gupta with a score of 15-5 in a match that was largely one-sided. From the beginning, Vinay and Rahul exhibited a blend of aggressive shots and excellent court coverage, keeping their rivals under relentless pressure.

Their journey to the championship was equally remarkable, as they dominated their semifinal match against David Murry and Tonoto Ayemi, winning decisively with an 11-0 scoreline. This victory highlighted their strong teamwork and consistency, setting the stage for their final showdown.

Kanishk and Rishabh reached the final after a hard-fought 11-6 victory over Harsh Gurnani and Ashray Bhasin in their semifinal. Despite their earlier resilience, they could not match the performance of Vinay and Rahul in the title match.

With this impressive display, Vinay and Rahul completed a perfect tournament, rightfully earning the championship title in the 30+ Men’s Doubles category.
