In Victoria, the city has recently inaugurated 11 new dedicated pickleball courts at Topaz Park, part of a larger redevelopment initiative aimed at improving local recreational infrastructure, as reported by a local news outlet. This new facility features permanent nets, fenced courts, shaded seating, and lighting for evening play. With these additions, the total number of pickleball courts in Victoria has now doubled.

Alongside the pickleball courts, the project has also upgraded walking paths, renovated an outdoor fitness area, and created a youth-friendly gathering space equipped with bike racks and misting stations.

City officials have also announced plans for a fenced dog park to open later this year as part of the ongoing redevelopment efforts. Located near downtown, Topaz Park is a popular multi-sport venue that hosts various community events and sports activities throughout the year.
