Veer Shah hailed his Boys Under 16 Singles final against Panth Takkar as an exhilarating contest. On April 1, at the Indian Open 2026, a PWR 1000 event held at CrossCourts in Hyderabad, Shah emerged victorious, narrowly defeating Takkar with a score of 21-19. The match was fiercely competitive, with both players exchanging leads throughout. While Takkar maintained the pressure, Shah seized critical moments to clinch the win.


After his triumph, Veer expressed his excitement to Pickleball Now, stating, "It was an incredible match. I just secured the under-16 boys singles gold medal.
