In preparation for the upcoming Hockey India League (HIL) season, Vedanta Kalinga Lancers have officially named India's Sanjay and Belgium's Arthur Van Doren as co-captains. The HIL 2026 is scheduled to take place from January 3 to January 26, 2026, across Chennai, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar.
Leadership Experience
Sanjay, an Indian drag-flicker, recently guided the national team to a second-place finish. Meanwhile, Van Doren led Belgium to victory at the 31st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in November 2025, showcasing the strong leadership qualities both players bring to the team.
