Historic Achievement for Indian Pickleball

New Delhi [India], July 9: In a groundbreaking achievement for Indian pickleball, Vanshik Kapadia, representing the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), made headlines by securing three medals at the PPA Tour Asia – Panas Malaysia Open 2025, which took place from July 3 to 6 at 9pickle in Selangor.


During the inaugural PPA Tour event in Malaysia, Kapadia displayed remarkable skill and adaptability across all formats: Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.


• Silver Medal in Pro Men's Singles: Kapadia reached the finals after a tough battle but fell short against Vietnam's Trinh Linh Giang, losing in straight sets (12-10, 11-7).


• Gold Medal in Pro Men's Doubles: Alongside partner Harsh Mehta from India, the duo triumphed in the finals with a decisive score of 11-3, 11-6.


• Gold Medal in Pro Mixed Doubles: Teaming up with Australia's Nicola Schoeman, Kapadia delivered an outstanding performance, winning the finals 11-3, 11-4.


The PPA Tour Asia – Panas Malaysia Open 2025, organized by the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), marked a significant milestone as the first PPA event hosted in Malaysia. The tournament attracted over 500 competitors from various countries, including Vietnam, Australia, the USA, Hong Kong, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan.
