Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the batting prodigy from Rajasthan Royals, has landed in Ahmedabad for the IPL 2026 final. The match will see the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, face off against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, May 31.
Despite the Rajasthan Royals not making it to the final after their defeat to the Titans in Qualifier 2, Sooryavanshi showcased his talent with a remarkable innings of 96 runs off just 47 balls in Mullanpur. Earlier, in the Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 15-year-old, who recently earned a call-up to India A, scored a blistering 97 runs off 29 balls, narrowly missing the record for the fastest IPL century held by Chris Gayle.
