CM Dhami Celebrates a Milestone in Indian Boxing

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Indian boxing team for their outstanding performance at the World Boxing Cup Finals. He described this achievement as a moment of national pride. The Indian contingent concluded the tournament with a remarkable haul of 20 medals, comprising nine gold, six silver, and five bronze, marking one of the nation's most successful participations on the international stage.

Dhami commended the boxers for setting a new standard in Indian sports. He stated, "The remarkable achievements of our boxers at the World Boxing Cup 2025 represent a proud moment for our country. Women's Team Shines with Seven Golds


The women's boxing team made a significant impact, securing seven gold medals. Notable winners included Minakshi (48kg), Preeti (54kg), Arundhati Choudhary (70kg), and Nupur (80+kg), along with Nikhat Zareen (51kg), Jaismine Lamboria (57kg), and Parveen (60kg). Additionally, Pooja Rani earned a silver in the 80 kg category, while Neeraj Phogat (bronze in 65 kg) and Saweety Boora (bronze in 75 kg) also contributed to the medal tally.


Men's Team Achieves Two Golds


The men's boxing team secured two gold medals through Sachin Siwach (60 kg) and Hitesh Gulia (70 kg). Silver medals were awarded to Jadumani Singh (50 kg), Pawan Bartwal (55 kg), Abhinash Jamwal (65 kg), Ankush Panghal (80 kg), and Narendra Berwal (90+kg). Bronze medals were claimed by Jugnoo (85 kg) and Naveen (90 kg).
