Overview of the Tournament
Established in 2021, the FIH Hockey Nations Cup aims to create a competitive platform for top-ranked teams that are not part of the FIH Hockey Pro League. The winning team gains the opportunity to be promoted to the Pro League in the subsequent season.
To date, India, Spain, and New Zealand have claimed victory in the women's competition, while South Africa won the first edition of the men's tournament, followed by consecutive wins for the New Zealand men's team.
