Understanding Heart Attacks

A heart attack generally happens when the blood supply to the heart is abruptly obstructed, often due to blocked arteries or other internal issues. This interruption in oxygen-rich blood can result in the death of heart tissue, which can be fatal if not addressed promptly.

Although heart attacks can occur unexpectedly, health professionals indicate that the body may exhibit subtle warning signs beforehand—symptoms that are frequently overlooked or misinterpreted as minor ailments.
