On the South African side, the young talent Brevis has rocketed to 21st place after previously being outside the top 100, thanks to his record-breaking performance in Darwin. He scored an impressive 125*, helping the Proteas equal the three-match series at 1-1.
Brevis's first T20I century marked the highest score by a South African player in just his ninth match in this format. Additionally, his teammate Tristan Stubbs moved up 12 spots to tie for 27th in the T20I batting rankings.
