Tickets Released for Upcoming T20 World Cup

On Wednesday, additional tickets for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup became available, allowing fans to secure their spots for the tournament commencing on February 7.


Since its initial announcement in December, the tournament has created significant excitement, with over two million tickets offered for matches across eight venues in India and Sri Lanka, according to the ICC.


The matches will take place in eight stadiums located in India, including cities like Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, as well as in Kandy and Colombo in Sri Lanka.


Affordable Ticket Options

To enhance accessibility and ensure a great experience for fans, the ICC has set ticket prices at an unprecedented low, starting at just Rs 100 in India (around $1.11) and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka (approximately $3.26).


Tournament Overview and Host Nations

This edition marks the 10th ICC Men's T20 World Cup, returning to India for the first time since 2016, when the West Indies emerged victorious.


The co-hosts will aim to defend their title on home ground after their historic win in the last edition held in 2024. This will also be Sri Lanka's second time hosting the tournament, following their previous role in 2012.


Opening Matches and Group Information

The inaugural day of the T20 World Cup will feature three thrilling matches: Pakistan will face the Netherlands in Colombo, the West Indies will take on Bangladesh in Kolkata, and India will compete against the USA in Mumbai.
