The popularity of pickleball in Mumbai is on the rise, with The Otters Club emerging as a key player in this trend. The recent Pickleball Now Grand Prix 2026, held on February 21, showcased the venue's significance within the sport's community. Divy Jaisingh, the Chairman of Otters Club, shared insights on how the club has transformed into a vital hub for pickleball enthusiasts. He remarked, “This venue is iconic for many of us; it feels like a second home. We dedicate a lot of our time here for playing, training, and socializing.”
Jaisingh noted that pickleball has evolved beyond mere competition at the club. “It has fostered a strong sense of community among us. People are forming friendships while enjoying the sport and competing,” he explained. He also highlighted the club's commitment to developing talent and promoting a competitive spirit. “Our focus has always been on nurturing champions and encouraging participation in sports,” he added.
He acknowledged the contributions of various organizations in promoting the sport's growth. “It’s wonderful to see collaborations like those with Times and Courtly, which are instrumental in advancing pickleball.
