On Friday, T Dilip, India's fielding coach, arrived in Dehradun to partake in the wedding festivities of seasoned spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who is celebrating in Mussoorie. Dilip expressed his joy at being part of this significant event.


Upon his arrival, Dilip shared his close friendship with Kuldeep, stating, "We play together; he is a friend. So, it feels good to be here." He also reflected on India's recent triumph in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, commending the team's performance during the prestigious tournament. "It is good. We played well and became the champions. Back-to-back victories are commendable," he remarked.


Details of Kuldeep Yadav's Wedding

Following India's ICC Men's T20 World Cup victory in Ahmedabad, Kuldeep is set to embark on a new journey in his personal life. He will marry his fiancée, Vanshika, on March 14, in the scenic hill station of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The wedding is planned to take place at the Welcomhotel The Savoy.


Reports indicate that the couple had previously engaged in a private ceremony in Lucknow last June, attended only by close family. This upcoming wedding is also expected to be a private event, with several notable cricket figures anticipated to attend, including former India captain Sunil Gavaskar and current players Rinku Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma.

India's remarkable performance in the T20 World Cup 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad culminated in their victory over New Zealand. The Indian team posted an impressive total of 255 runs, bolstered by half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson, while New Zealand was bowled out for 159.


After the win, Kuldeep expressed his pride in the team's accomplishment, stating, "It is an important victory.
