This achievement places him alongside Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, making him the third bowler in the league's history to achieve this feat and the first among foreign players. Narine is now the third-highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Narine clean bowled Salil Arora with an exceptional delivery to secure his 200th IPL wicket. He added another wicket in the same innings, finishing with figures of 2 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs, having bowled the first over for KKR.
